The children’s playground at Cirque Duet, located on Level 4 of 18 Ogilvie Road, Mt Pleasant, was designed to provide a stimulating, safe, and visually engaging outdoor environment. Deep Green was engaged to deliver the full landscape and playground construction, ensuring seamless integration with the broader communal spaces of this luxury residential development.
Play elements were carefully selected to encourage active exploration and imaginative play, while soft landscaping and shaded areas provide year-round comfort. The design balances child-friendly scale and materiality with the refined aesthetic of the development, creating a cohesive and inviting environment for all residents.
Durability, safety, and low-maintenance were central to the project. Playground equipment, finishes, and surrounding planting were chosen to withstand heavy use while minimising ongoing upkeep. All works comply with relevant Australian safety standards and development approvals, and a 52-week maintenance and warranty period ensures continued performance.
Sustainability was embedded through the selection of durable, low-toxicity materials, water-wise planting, and passive cooling elements such as canopy shade and permeable surfacing. These initiatives contribute to the project’s 5-Star Green Star ambition, reducing environmental impact and promoting long-term efficiency.
