The Kingsway Christian College Wall Garden was designed to transform a vertical surface into a functional and inspiring landscape feature. Deep Green was engaged to deliver the full construction of the garden, integrating education, sustainability, and accessibility into a single, cohesive installation.
The garden supports learning across multiple subjects by acting as a living classroom. Students can observe plant growth, explore biodiversity, and engage directly with nature as part of their educational experience. A diverse selection of irrigated plant species was chosen to enhance air quality, encourage local wildlife, and provide a calming visual impact across the school grounds.
Community and student involvement was central to the project’s success. Through hands-on engagement and ongoing interaction with the garden, the school community develops a sense of ownership and pride in this sustainable feature.
